Architectural Package Inclusions
Inclusion differences between our residential design packages
Depending on which design packages you choose for your project, dion seminara architecture offers several different fee structures. Our fee structures vary based on the package(s) you choose, the size of your project, and any additional services you may decide to add on. The first step of our design process, which is crucial to receive pricing and fees, is to book one of our SHAPE Design Consultations.
Our SHAPE Design Consultation is the first step in our design process, as it is lower commitment than our other packages, and allows us a chance to scope out the architectural work, provide advice on the feasibility of your project plans, and set realistic expectations about any limitations your project may face – as well as areas of opportunity you may not have thought of. After this consultation, we can give you a fee structure and an estimated cost based on the current scope of your project.
Following this, there are many ways that our architects can help bring your project to life. Some of our clients choose to only engage us as architects for their concept design, which they then use to establish cost estimations, project feasibility for their lifestyle, and anything else they may need to decide before finishing the project and managing builders themselves. Other clients may want to engage us for a more complete service – providing their input and suggestions on concepts proposed by our architects, but hiring our firm to manage the approval documents, builder tendering, and project management.
We will also provide hourly rates for additional optional services, including Interior Design and Landscape Design.

Additional Sub-consultant Fees
In addition to our architectural service fees, our projects generally involve the services of a range of specialist consultants. The client can be required to commission the input from a Surveyor, Town Planner, Engineers, an Estimator, and a Certifier. We will organise quotes from each of these consultants for our clients as required for the successful completion of the project.
