Small internal renovation
The Gap Home Renovation
This home renovation project in The Gap aimed to improve the home’s liveability and street appeal. To achieve this, we made extensive alterations to the internal structure of the home and improved the aesthetics of the property with a new driveway, fencing, pool surround, deck, and landscaping.
It was important to our client that we transform the ground floor into an independent and fully functioning bed and breakfast. This floor was therefore converted to accommodate two bedrooms and a separate living and kitchenette area. Because of this design change, a new kitchen and dining zone was constructed on the first floor for our clients to enjoy in private.

Architectural Design
The first floor of the home was reorganised to improve the quality of living spaces on this level. This reorganisation also ensured that these rooms now overlook picturesque views of the lawn and neighbouring bushland. The extra bedroom on this floor was also renovated to convert into a second living area when the rooms on the ground floor are occupied by guests.
Relocating and constructing a new kitchen provided us with the perfect opportunity to craft a unique, immersive indoor/outdoor home experience for our clients. The kitchen now faces a new large deck that connects this space with other living areas on this floor. What’s more, we installed large sliding doors to completely open up the area. This space is now perfect for alfresco entertaining and relaxing without any direct exposure to the elements.
Material selection
Art Deco / Hampton Style
All the materials and design elements of this home renovation project were carefully selected to complement the existing art deco/Hampton styling of the property. This gave the house a cohesive aesthetic and further reinforced its inviting and classic styling.
