Bellbird Park Home Renovation

Located south-west of Brisbane in leafy Sinnamon Park, these homeowners had outgrown the covered carport with the family of drivers expanding. In order to create an indoor-outdoor connection, we focused on external works and designed an outdoor terrace.

The existing main bedroom will become the new main living area and will connect to the new dining and kitchen extension on the southern side of the home. We will install a new UV rated glazed skylight in the new dining room. As a result, creating a light-filled and comfortable space. A smaller eat-in kitchen/dining area will connect to the new living area on the south side of your home. A bar will be located in the new dining area, with a sliding door through to the covered outdoor area with a pool table. We will separate and screen off this entertaining area from the carport using a new screen to provide privacy. In front of the new living area, a new outdoor terrace with BBQ area will create a better indoor/outdoor connection to the backyard and pool.

Overall, these living areas will allow plenty of breeze and natural light. In addition, it will provide views of the pool area and backyard, making entertaining and supervision easier.

A new pedestrian entry path, new plants and also an optional gatehouse will enhance the street appeal of the home. The new path will connect to the new entry as well as the secondary dwelling through the backyard. The old pergola structure along the north side will be replaced by privacy screening, or additional planting, to privatise the bedrooms.
